Talking Tech: CERT’s Insider Threat Database – Michael Theis

Insider threats come in many forms – disgruntled employees, accidental victims, even spies.

Michael Theis, assistant director for research at the CERT Insider Threat Center, explains center’s use of empirical research and analysis in developing “socio-technical solutions” that combat insider cyber threats.

Part of the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie-Mellon University, the CERT center partners with the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the intelligence community and other Federal agencies to devise controls and strategies to prevent insider crimes.

    She’s not the only one.

    When are any of you going to comprehend and alert the citizenry that state leaders and Congress are doing illegal things and negating legal laws?
