Talking Tech: The Government’s Role in the Internet of Things

The Internet of Things doesn’t just have huge implications for consumers. It has enormous potential for governments, as well. The National Institute of Standards and Technology is helping to map the way forward for securing the Internet of Things from hackers and ensuring its utility across government and consumer applications. Matt Scholl is deputy chief of NIST’s Computer Security Division.

    This is right. More and more government agencies are leveraging the different companies’ services for IoT and Big Data management. These are confidential data that we’re talking about and I think these companies should really up their games towards developing more secured and stable system.
